The 29th Annual Polar Bear Club Plunge
to Benefit Developmental & Disability Services of Lebanon Valley
Thank you to everyone one who came out to Wind in the Willows to ring in the New Year at the 29th Polar Bear Club Plunge. 130 Polar Bears registered for this year's plunge while hundreds more watched the festivities. The Cold for a Cause Campaign will remain open till the end of the month as funds continue to flow in.
Our sincere gratitude to Dave and Pamela Graybill for hosting this year’s event. Wind in the Willows proved to be an excellent venue for us to resume the New Year's Day tradition and offers plenty of room for the event to grow. Thank you DJ Jim Payne, Timeless Cafe, Turkey Hill Road Crew and the Sunnyside MC for volunteering to help run our event and to entertain and amuse our guests.

Who is DDS?
DDS is a charitable 501(C)3 organization that provides training and education services to people with disabilities living in Lebanon County.
Imagine the challenges of living with a disability. What if you had a family member or child with a developmental disability? Having a place to turn that offers important services and programs has become life-changing to many residents within our Lebanon County community. We are here to aid, encourage and assist infants, children and adults living with a disability. It’s all about helping our neighbors to overcome obstacles and live a full, enriching and independent life.

Wind in the Willows is conveniently located just north of Route 22 in Lebanon County, the 15 acre estate features a spring fed pond as a scenic focal point, creating the perfect setting for hundreds of polar bears and clubs to ring in the New Year by taking the noon day plunge.
