About Our Organization
Our mission is to empower children with developmental delays and persons with disabilities to lead more productive, satisfying and/or independent lives. By supporting special events like the Annual Polar Bear Club Plunge, you empower DDS to empower others. DDS fulfills its mission by providing an array of education services for individuals from birth to age 78, including: Early Intervention, Special Instruction, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Summer Day Camp, Recreational Programs, Supported Competitive Employment Program, Habilitation, Companion, Respite services and Advocacy services through the Elks Home Service Nurse. Each year, more than 350 individuals and their families will benefit from DDS.
